The fire suppression system can come in handy if you take a lot of damage or need to use emergency speed, the docking bay repair module can help you in the lava zone if your prawn takes a beating from the sea dragon and it's not safe to get out and repair it, and the decoy tube upgrade allows you to launch more decoys before having to reload, which is useful if you panic and launch one to early.Īdd a fabricator, medkit fabricator, modification station, battery charger and growbed to your cyclops. Make the cyclops shield generator, engine efficiency module, and sonar upgrades. Make the prawn suit jump jet upgrade and the first 2 cyclops depth modules. If you brought your cyclops, you'll want to take it back to your base so you can make some final lava zone preparations. Copper, silver and uranite deposits are common in this area so feel free to take advantage of that. Drill some silver if you're in low supply of it and also drill uranite if you plan on using the nuclear reactor. Take it down to the lost river (if you want to use your cyclops then make sure to pack supplies and upgrades) and collect around 7-8 crystalline sulfur. Any other upgrade slots can be filled with what you want, but save room for a jump jet upgrade. Give your prawn suit a depth module, grappling arm, and drill arm. After visiting both alien facilities in the area, collect around 14 pieces of nickel ore (mainly found near the cove tree) and then leave. Sonar and perimeter defense should be enough to protect you from the enemies. Once in the lost river, find the cove tree, disease research facility, and lava zone entrance, as these will all be important later. The orange tablet can be found in the ruined base in the grand reef, and the door it opens is near the grand reef entrance to the lost river. You will want 3 purple tablets and one orange tablet before exploring. Mark a lost river entrance and the lava zone entrance with a beacon so that you can come back later without having to spend a lot of time searching. It is a giant cave big enough for your cyclops, and following it will take you straight to the lava zone. A good entrance is near lifepod 12 in the bulb zone. The Ghost Leviathan eggs consists of a transparent, blue tinged membrane and a glowing blue embryo within. The lower portion of the Giant Cove Tree consists of many massive roots, dropping down into the surrounding brine pool. Most of these branches surround a Ghost Leviathan egg, along with two similar, yet smaller eggs found lower down on the Giant Cove Tree. The Giant Cove Tree consists of a trunk that is made from multiple, intertwined branches, brown in color that splits off into many smaller, bioluminescent fuchsia tipped branches.
